The car was in need of a wash when I picked it up. I thought all cars deserve to be clean when a customer picks up. Also I was told I would get a copy of a paid invoice so I could get reimbursed. My car was rented from the Hattiesburg Hertz rental car on May 31st and I returned it on June 3rd. I called the Hattiesburg office and was told I would get a copy e-mailed to me. After not receiving a copy I called back and promised to send me one. Never received one. Not until I called the main Hertz number I finally received a copy. However now I have to wait 3 to 4 days to receive a copy of my bill that says paid in full. This is outrageous. I will not call Hertz ever again. I will pass on my feelings to my co-workers as well. You need to focus on customer service. You are awful at CS. Unhappy, Steven Murphy

They charged me for fuel (@8.99/gallon) despite me dropping off the car with a full tank. Luckily, I had receipts from a local gas station and a cell phone-acquired image of the gas tank showing 'full' with the actual drop off mileage. I had to call several times for clarification and finally had to get in touch with people at the headoffice to refund me (there was this long-winded questionnaire I had to answer before they could process my claim. I would never recommend this place to anybody. I had a very distasteful experience. Big time incompetence on Hertz's part.

Never showed up with car at airport that was reserved. Hertz website phone number is a voicemail that isn't activated. Number that Hertz customer service provides rings off hook. Ended up having to reserve a car with Enterprise. President's Circle member.

Didn't have our reserved vehicle and they are not at the airport.

I had a very good experience. My only problem was that I didn't receive the car I chose on-line and there was water in the trunk of the car— I'm still not sure why or how that happened. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with the company.
